The maiden edition of The Wanjohi Prize for African Poetry is currently open for submissions. The Wanjohi Prize for African Poetry is in honour of the remarkable contributions of Benny Wanjohi to African poetry.

Submission Guidelines 

To submit to the The Wanjohi Prize for African Poetry, ensure you read the submission guidelines as provided by the organizers.

• There's no specific theme.
• Submit only one poem.
• The poem should not exceed 30 lines.
• They are looking for poems with originality, creativity and rich use of poetic devices.

Submission open from April 1 to July 1, 2024
