This short film is intended to present the opposite side of what is largely a single story, providing insight into the circumstances that cause certain realities that confront couples in such relationships or marriages.
The words and images delicately capture the nuances of everyday life, a powerful and unspoken tension that often simmers beneath the surface, and the bruised that are beclouded by veils . The film skillfully navigates the complexities of relationships, exposing the fragile threads that bind love and control. With each exposition, we witness the subjugation, the abuse, pain in its purest form as a survivor determined to reclaim her voice and break free from the chains of physical abuse.
And the end? It does trigger a sense of conscience and justice on a parallel line.
