The £5,000 international literary prize is open to poetry and short fiction submissions on any theme, celebrating innovation in content, form and technique
About The Aesthetica Creative Writing Award 2022
Since its establishment 15 years ago, the Creative Writing Award has provided a platform for poets and authors across the globe to showcase their work through publication, prize money and exposure.

Aesthetica Creative Writing Award 2022 Entry Rules
Poetry entries should be no more than 40 lines.
Fiction entries should be no more than 2,000 words.
Works published or entered elsewhere are accepted.
We accept works on any theme.
You may enter the Award as many times as you wish, although each work requires a fee and new submission form.

Timescale
- December 2021 – 31 August 2022: Entries open
- September 2022: Judging begins
- November 2022: Shortlisted writers are contacted and book proofs sent
- December 2022: Winners are announced
- December 2022: Publication of winners and shortlist in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual 2023
