Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, in a hosted event will be in conversation with Emma Dabiri centred on his last novel titled "The Happiest People On Earth"
The event will hold on September 28 at the Southbank in London.
The novel, Chronicles of the Happiest People on Earth, tells the “story of a doctor and his college friend, Yoruba royal Duyole Pitan-Payne, Chronicles from the Land of the Happiest People on Earth is a dazzlingly brutal story of the nature of greed, power and the soul of a nation.”
The virtual event will be live-streamed from the Southbank Centre in partnership withGuardian Live. The book was released late last year in Nigeria by Bookraft. (see photos here). The US edition (Penguin Random House) and UK Edition (Bloomsbury) are set for a September 28th.
