"L
ife could be a taunting misery, yet with a beaming light of endearing hope."

Into The Light, shows the poet persona as a lost wanderer searching for light. The innate peace each man has, yet searches for it through thick and thin

The first few lines describes the hardship as the poet "stumbles to find peace inside my peace". Eventually, she braced herself up, resolving to "erase all the bad memories and lies" and  appreciating "each precious day".

Into The Light is a poem of hope, faith and acceptance of an uncertain reality.

INTO THE LIGHT

I feel empty like I’m searching for a light,
As I walk through this dim path in the dead of night.
I’m lost and can’t find my way,
I stumble to find the light of day.
I need to find peace inside my soul,
I know there’s something better to find that’s my goal.
I’m scratching and clawing my way to the top,
Praying that when I get there this pain will stop.
A voice inside me keeps whispering, telling me to go,
To not give up,let my faith show.
It’s time to hang on and open my eyes,
To erase all the bad memories and lies.
To show I’m not broken instead I’m standing tall,
I’m strong, brave,I can make it through it all.
I’m learning to appreciate each precious day,
Knowing in the end I will have the final say.
