YOUR LOVE STAYED
Our love bloomed,
Somewhere in June,
Where we held hands,
Hoping it will last a long while.
As shimmering lights brightened it,
Our darkened path lightened,
Hence despite the storm,
That we were rolling in,
Our love stayed.
Though the road stipend,
And had us wondering at the crossroad,
Thinking our journey had come to a halt,
Our love knew no bounds.
With head held up high,
It climbed the mountain of Matterhorn,
Prowling up and down,
Prowling up and down,
And somehow we found solace,
While life tested our faith,
While the walls seemed,
To be cracking side by side,
Our love stayed,
Parching all the settling,
Through desperate and trying times,
Our love, of queer diplomacy,
Always stayed.
