Akwaeke Emezi is set to release her forthcoming novel in February 2022. The novel is titled "Bitter", a prequel to the debut Pet in 2018.
Few of the writers that have been making waves for the past months is Akwaeke Emezi, who has been able to publish five books in the period of four years. Few months ago, the Nigerian writer's book movie right was acquired by Netflix.
Not to douse the expectations, Akwaeke Emezi is set to release her forthcoming novel in February 2022. The novel is titled "Bitter", a prequel to the debut Pet in 2018. The novel will also be her second YA novel.
Bitter will be published by Knopf Teen, an imprint of Penguin Random House on 2 February 2022.
The synopsis of the book, "Bitter" reads:

Aside this, Akwaeke Emezi is expected to publish her poetry collection titled "Content Warning: Everything and novel You Made a Fool of Death With Your Beauty."
