Nigeria Newsdirect is an online website that shares news updates.
Now, this brings us back to the topic. Why you should submit your poems to the Nigeria Newsdirect Poetry Column!
In most African countries, Nigeria inclusive, upcoming writers, most especially poets have suffered for lack of recognition and even if they were to be recognized, it has always been for a little while.
Also, being a writer in Africa can be frustrating sometimes, if one doesn't know his way around the nooks, one might end up giving up on the writing career. Hence, the need for such a creative platform created by the Nigeria Newsdirect Poetry Column.
Although we have other publishing companies or websites that pays writers for their works, but only few of them actually gives the recognition most writers crave.
Also, the monetary aspect. This is common among writers unless those who have been able to survive through freelancing platforms like Fiverr, upwork and freelancer and those who decided to ghostwrite, proofread and write contents for website, blogs and companies. These are the smart ones!
But what about others? Well, to know more how to earn as a writer, check this page!
