Approached like a thief in the night, Promising Heaven and Planets, Sweeting the innocent Princess with his lies,
"Olayiwola does take the readers on a stroll here. In the beast, he recreates an imagery of a story most are accustomed to, taking the words like a grain of sand, heap by heap. He questions, what business does the dog have with the tiger?" and narrates an interesting story of love, sacrifices, deceit and their aftermath.
Olayiwola, gives the readers an insight, a thing to ponder on in "the beast"

THE BEAST
Approached like a thief in the night,
Promising Heaven and Planets,
Sweeting the innocent Princess with his lies,
Lies she ignores in the first place.
He pressed on with his sweet words,
Words like Magic,
Naturally endowed with deceit, is He!
The poor Damsel is Confused.
Unfortunately, she gives in to the Beast in guise of human.
Days and nights she is in the devil's grip,
Not knowing she is only a prey to the Beast.
What business does the dog has with the Tiger?
The Tiger has his ways.
Cheated the Poor Lass,
Destroys her heart, like the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah,
She wept, nobody was able to comfort her.
She later got Revitalized,
Moved on with Life.
Locked her hearts to Many,
She was dead on the Inside.
