Word limits: 1000 words for flash fiction; 2000 words for memoir; 1000-3000 words for fiction; ONLY ONE POEM for poetry

They will only accept work from Black authors/artists for this issue. If you are not Black, please do not submit your work to this submissions category; they will not publish it in this special issue.
Payment: Our standard rates apply ($50 per piece)
Formatting: Please double space prose
Art & Photography: If you would like to submit art for this issue, please submit it under the submissions category Free Art Submissions for Black Artists & please make a note in your cover letter that you would like to be considered for the Summertime Issue.
