Entry Fee: None required.
Eligibility/ Requirements
All African poets who have not been published yet and is also a student of University of Nebraska or is an employee.
However, past or present paid employees of the University of Nebraska Press or Amalion Press, or current faculty are not allowed to submit or participate in this contest. Also, published poets of book length poetry collection and self published poets that have sold their books online, in stores or at readings are not allowed to participate.
Submission Guidelines
All submitted poetry manuscripts should be at least 50 pages long
Author’s name should not appear anywhere on the manuscript as all entries will be read anonymously
A cover page with only the title of the manuscript should be included and an acknowledgement page listing the publication history of individual poems may however be included.
Eligible writers can submit more than one manuscript if possible.
