Jack Grapes poetry prize is an annual pruze that is hosted by Cultural Weekly. It is named in honor of Jack Grapes.
Jack Grapes had all the most interesting creative writing jobs. He was a US poet, playwright, poetry analyst, teacher, and publisher. The prize is in its 8th year and has been announced as the best edition of the poetry prize due to its huge received submissions.
The winner is to receive $200 while the other finalists recieve $50 each.
The deadline for this year's edition of Jack Grapes Poetry prize was August 2020.

In 2020, they received a whopping 2,412 entries from writers all over the world, containing over 3,500 individual poems!
Out of all the 2,412 entries for the contest, the judges, Tony Gloeggler, Bunkong Tuon, and Alexis Rhone Fancher chose 112 semi-finalists. Out of the semi-finalists, three were chosen as finalist; each chose one winner and two finalists.
The competition was quite so intense according to the judges — there were SO many terrific poems.
