A romantic poetry, duet that tells a story between two people who share mutual feelings but was afraid to reveal it to each other
JUST WHAT LOVE IS
G: Daisy, I used to lie with my eyes stretched so far
Hoping to reach towards he
Just as I long to reach for the sky
It was beautiful and loving, sweet and charming
D: It was like the lace of mist beclouding my thought
Like the symphony of the strings of guitar and heartbeat of Bà tá
Bringing something so far closer; strange but lovely
Of what better way to put the mind on a spike and let the heart alive?
G: The sea wallowed calmly with its tide
While the birds chirped in harmony in the sky
All singing in the melody
As I lay to savour the endless rhythms of the moment
While the thought of you ransacked my mind.
D: Gold, People say there's reason for everything
Reason why the sky cries and the sun come afterward to dry its tears
Or why the stars gaze down, twinkling, prolly searching for its lost days
But the reason for this weird feelings
Its like the thought of being slain between the cracked walls of tranquility and melancholy
G: Lost in between the whirlwind of what love is and was
Like a candle lit at night
Still, I hope you'll one day lit my world
And fill it with happiness and laughter
I'll hold on dear the memories, clutching still to never let go
D: Of what better way would my tongue worship this ancient language for you?
When I'm enchanted by the sharp rhythms of its tune,
When my timid heart hides behind the shades of my imagination,
When my lips stutters more than my heart beats,
When the horrors in my past revolt against me from reaching further to you
As I voyage away, alone, on the sea to imprison the spurring emotions still
G: You were near but I could feel the distance
Right around the corner, I caught your glimpse
Alas, the storm broke out
I turned to look, cemented I stood to the ground
As the pain cut deep like a thousand blades
Lost within myself, as the wind howls from afar
The boat's already wrecked, taking all what's left
D: Swallowed in the dark heart of the ocean , my vision , numb
All seem stuck, like I was caught in the web of time
Therein, the thought of you rummaged my fragmented mind
Wishing, reminiscing about the memories I wish I could make with you
Levitating alone in the deep sea, I wish I could live once more
G: As I rummaged through the path
Sad smile swept across my face
As my heart crave the day
Therein, I wonders what love is and pondered on what it was
D: These four alphabets are like the ancient language known to the heart
But strange to reasoning, almost seeming like a myth
But how do I survive this?
When my gut lies helpless, dying in the sea; restless
When my heart wanders off to you more than it hides in its haven
G: Daisy, I'm willing to have a taste
Of what love is, not was
I long till that day , when you'll crack that shell open
And break free from what's holding back
Struck still by the peaceful gaze
Our hands entwined still
As we sojourn on what love is
D: Gold, I'm daring to have a taste
Of what love is, not was
I long still for that day when I'll speak not only through my heart
As we lay beside each other on the beach
Staring keenly at your brown eyes
As smile crept on our faces
Hoping to sojourn on what love is
